Cleaning beams is a specialised process and our technicians are fully trained and experienced in the cleaning beam process. To clean the beams we gently strip and clean away the paint or similar layer by layer not all at once this makes the cleaning beam process far more precise and allows us to clean the beam in places where there may be thicker paint or varnish.

Beam Clean & Restore Limited use equipment that can be used on a wide range of domestic, listed and industrial premises. Using a cleaning pressure of between 20 – 30 psi, along with the finest and safest media available we can gently lift away paint and more from your beams, layer by layer with no damage to the beam underneath or the surrounding area. It is not, repeat not at all like sandblasting which is used at pressure levels of between 120+ using sand not fine chemical safe medias. Sandblasting will not only remove layers of the delicate timber, oak, pine or brickwork but will also cause untold damage to the surrounding area! Not a good idea at all!

Once our gentle cleaning process is complete you may even be amazed to find age old treasures carved into the beams such as initials, dates, places or names that you never knew were there, hiding underneath that black paint! Yes, our cleaning process is so gentle and effective it will not remove these treasures!! It could even add value to your home! The media that Beam Clean & Restore Limited use is chemical free, eco friendly and non hazardous and safe enough to use even if your property is listed.
